"How do I know what I think until I see what I say?"

Such as it is, this wobbly little blog, training wheels and all, has been in silent mode. Intended only as an experiment, it started as a way for me to learn, and to see what I would say. I usually have to figure that sort of thing out as I go along. :O)

Since I wasn't sure that I'd continue, I intentionally laid low, deleting things that might draw even the tiniest amount of traffic. My thought at the time was that anyone who browsed through accidentally, might reasonably be expecting content, but would be disappointed to find only posts-in-progress.

Well, since it is possible for people to find their way here, whether there's content or not, I gave it another look recently. Visible training wheels. True to form for someone still in beginner mode, I saw that in the tiny number of posts that did exist, things could stand some tweaking. Okay. So, there will be some editing of earlier posts. And there will be new content. Probably. :O)

Thanks for your patience...hopefully, the training wheels will come off soon. :O)

Yes We Can

"...tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope."

Barack Obama's inner poet

"I have a theory that some poets never make it to the page."

Almost without exception, in every conversation over the past two days, in every text and in every sort of post I've read, there's been some mention of the overwhelming emotion of this moment. Hope can be a startling thing.
